MARY D. AVERBOOK, 81, died Aug. 9 of pneumonia at Corona Regional Medical Center. Born in Brocton, Ill., Mrs. Averbook lived in Corona six years. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Averbook is survived by her husband, Gordon; a daughter, Terri Davis of Yorba Linda; two sons, Bob Cook of Wisconsin and Jim Cook of Sacramento; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Eileen Vestal of Arizona; and a brother, Paul Dittamore of Illinois.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona. Friends may call at the mortuary from 1 until 4 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery.
